Budget is part of the Budget Group of Companies that has grown to be one of the UK’s largest personal lines intermediaries with more than a million clients, main contact centre operations and with about 2,000 employees. Now it is one of the most important car insurance companies in UK.
Budget is a leading direct insurer, which has the aim to find the cheapest car insurance (also known as ‘motor insurance’) quote for its customers from a panel of 20 top insurers. It also has specialist lines for van insurance, with 12 top insurers to contact, and motorcycle insurance available.
Budget’s clients save an average of £118 when they switch to Budget, according to a comparative internet survey in April 2005. Among the services they propose is a courtesy car with comprehensive cover, window glass cover (£50 excess), claims repairs guaranteed for three years (subject to status) and emergency assistance subject to terms and conditions.
